Quality Relocation Services (QRS) has established agreements with a number of the major van lines that offer long distance moving with quality service at competitive rates. QRS will not refer you to small independent moving companies or Internet movers/brokers who represent themselves as national moving companies. Our experience has proven that the major long distance moving companies provide a consistently higher level of service and reliability. Please see the Moving & the Internet tab for more information.

Long distance moves arranged though the QRS program receive corporate-class status from the moving companies. These long distance moves are prioritized as they are considered one in a series of moves. The moving companies assign more customer service support as they don't want to jeopardize loosing future business by providing poor service. QRS moving companies will provide the same level of corporate service; regardless of if you are an individual consumer or a company employee.

QRS will assign a move management counselor to assist you in your long distance move process from start to finish. The counselor will act as a resource for any information that you may need; and as an advocate for you through out your move.

Step 1 - Defining your needs

Your counselor will contact you to discuss the long distance moving services that you require and the moving companies from which you wish to obtain estimates. The counselor will then contact the moving company agents and ask them to call you within one working day to schedule an appointment for an in-home estimate.

Step 2 - Reviewing the estimates

After completing the long distance moving estimates, the agents will forward copies to the QRS counselor who will check them for accuracy, completeness, and inclusiveness of the services you require. The counselor will then contact you to review the moving estimates and to assist you in comparing them for price and services.

Step 3 - Selecting your moving company

After comparing the results, you will decide on the long distance moving company that best meets your pricing and service needs. The QRS counselor will then contact the moving companies to inform them about your decision and ask the selected moving company to contact you to review the services and schedule your dates. They will also forward any necessary paperwork to be signed.

Step 4 - Tracking your long distance move

The selected moving company will assign their own customer service person that will be the primary contact for your long distance move. The QRS counselor will call you on pack, load, and delivery days to make sure that all is going well. If at any time your service is less than expected, contact your QRS counselor for assistance in getting your move back on track.
